Personal statement
As Faculty Officer (Research & Knowledge Exchange) I am based in the Faculty & Undergraduate Office at Strathclyde Business School.
Since 2013, I have work closely with the SBS Vice Deans (Research/KE), and Associate Deans (Research/KE/Impact/User Engagement) supporting a wide portfolio of activity across the School.
My role includes management of Faculty-level Committees, and co-ordinating activities across our 6 departments, working closely with Departmental Directors (Research/KE/PGR) and Departmental Administrators. I lead administration processes to facilitate research audit and our REF submission. I also co-ordinate the development of our impact cases and manage the research component for international accreditation exercises (AACSB, EQUIS, AMBA).
I started at Strathclyde in 2008, and have worked as part of the Research & KE Team (RaKET) in the Faculty of Humanities & Social Sciences and the Research Data Management & Sharing Team (RDMS) within Research & Knowledge Exchange Services (RKES).
Before joining Strathclyde, I had undertaken a variety of research support roles at the University of Dundee (Clinical Pharmacology, Medicine and Nursing & Midwifery). I also supported the establishment of the first Managed Clinical Network in Scotland, as Diabetes MCN Administrator for NHS Tayside.
